Here at Irregular Choice, nothing makes us more happy and proud to share the gorgeous brides (& their partners and guests!) rocking our dazzlingly unique and super fun shoes on their wedding day! So today, in celebration of our brand new 2023 Wedding Collection, we’re going to spread some appreciation for some of our beautiful #irregularbrides - Australian edition!

First up we have Jenny (@jenwynter on instagram, photographed by @melanierosephoto) who wore polka dot pumps and an embroidered belt with her white tulle dress. We’re obsessed with the pops of colour and lashings of confetti! Jenny wore our style ‘Berry Bloom’, and she and her husband were married at Buyna Crossing Reserve in Queensland.

“I have a few pairs of Irregular Choice that I wear onstage during my comedy/cabaret gigs. They were the first part of my wedding outfit I decided upon. I love them so much!”

Next up is Cher’s (@mrsartofteaching, photographed by @amlightphotography) spellbinding ceremony - which featured not only multiple dresses - but multiple shoes too! Our favourite details are the cherry blossom embroidery and embellishments. Some of the many shoes Cher wore on the day were ‘Love & Marriage’, and ‘Sparkling Slipper’. Cher and her husband Wallace were married at Nurragingy Reserve in Sydney.

“Irregular Choice played a big part in my pre wedding photoshoots, bridal shower, and wedding day. I wanted my outfits to feel special by having pretty shoes on my feet. The most memorable part of my wedding was my first dance. The twinkling of lights of the ‘Sparkling Slipper’ heels made me feel like a princess as I danced the night away.”

Our next bride is Keeley (@dork_withafork, photographed by @crooked_images), who took ‘Something Blue’ to the next level with mermaid hair and mermaid heels to match! The wedding was held at Carilley Estate in Western Australia and Keeley wore ‘Seafoam Queen’.

“I’ve never been one to socially conform, I’ve always been the one who speaks out when it’s needed, I tell people I love their hair, make up, and outfits. I’ve always been called ‘out there’ and ‘interesting’, and you best believe I bang the drum to my own tune! There has never been anything traditional about me, so why would I be traditional for my wedding? My Irregular Choice shoes were my 'something blue' - believe it or not my hair was purple before the wedding! They were perfect, I matched my bouquets to the pink and white flowers! My shoes were my first wedding purchase!”

Our next bride is Carolyn (@cazxsparklexbutterfly, photographed by @stuzphotography), whose gorgeous art deco dress and moody autumnal colour palette made for an absolutely striking ensemble. Carolyn wore ‘Papillion’, and she and her husband were married in Maidstone, Victoria.

“We were married in May on our seven year anniversary. It was the loveliest Autumn day, the church ceremony was simple and attended by our close family and friends. My wedding look was inspired by my love of the 1920s, butterflies and the wonderful colours of Autumn! My butterfly shoes from Irregular Choice were love at first sight! I fell for the bold, romantic design and felt they added that perfect amount of sparkle and glamour for my special day.”

Our next bride is Missy (@itsmissysmiley, photographed by @ohwild_), who gave us grungy-glam disco diva with her sequined tulle gown and bejewelled headband! Missy wore our iconic ‘Ban Joe’ in a glimmering gold colourway. Missy and her husband eloped in Kuitpo Forest, South Australia.

“From the get-go, getting married was going to be as 'us' as possible. We eloped with no guests (well, technically we had one guest - our dog Günter), we wore outfits that were true to us and our style, drank our favourite beers, and celebrated by playing Mario Kart and eating pizza. I knew that I wanted fun shoes so once we had decided on a colour palette for our elopement, I actually messaged the Irregular Choice Oz instagram for some help picking shoes, as I'm in different state from the physical store. The person who helped me out was incredible! I explained that we were eloping and I needed help with some shoes that matched our colour palette and my dress. They came back with so many wonderful options (photos AND videos) but I couldn't go past their first suggestion of the Ban Joe's which had just landed in the store!”

Our final bride for today is Meagan (@meaganmcmillan, photographed by @lovebombphotos) who wore a stunning 1950s inspired dress, and cute rainbow heels! Meagan and Joanne’s ceremony was in Richmond, then they stopped for a photoshoot in South Yarra, and finally partied the night away at their reception in Melbourne CBD. Meagan wore ‘Lady Ban Joe’

“I knew I wanted to wear a pair of Irregular Choice shoes for our wedding for so long! I had always planned on a shorter tea length dress so stunning shoes were a must. I loved that the pair I chose had a subtle rainbow gradient, which felt like the perfect pride touch to my outfit!”
